The Arts Center at Duck Creek is proud to present Generous Ground, our first official Alumni Exhibition, on view June 14 through July 27, 2025. This celebratory summer show honors the visionary artists and generous supporters who have shaped Duck Creek into a radically accessible, artist-first arts space since its founding.

This show brings together artists like John Little (1907–1984), whose legacy anchors Duck Creek’s artist-first ethos, to 2025 exhibiting artists Carol Saft and Fitzhugh Karol. Featured alumnus include Sydney Albertini (2017), William Eric Brown (2023), Daniel Cabrera (2024), Don Christensen (2023), Carl D’Alvia (2021), Elizabeth Duffy (2021), Elizabeth Hazan (2021), Bryan Hunt (2020), Sue McNally (2023). Lindsay Morris (2020), Erika Ranee (2024), Sally Richaardson (2022), Claire Watson (2021), Ross Watts (2022), and more.

All works will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting Duck Creek’s year-round programming, artist residencies, and ongoing efforts to provide barrier-free access to the arts.

The exhibition culminates in a Summer Benefit Evening on Friday, July 25, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, an outdoor gathering with food, drinks, and a special live performance by Kaoru Watanabe, internationally recognized for his blend of traditional Japanese music with contemporary improvisation.

Since opening to the public in 2018, Duck Creek has grown into a lively and inclusive platform for contemporary art and performance. We’ve done this without admission fees or commercial revenue—just through the belief that art should be shared freely and experienced together. This group show honors the artists who have helped build that vision—and invites our community to contribute to what comes next.

Join us for an evening of great art, good company, and meaningful support.
